How can we help?
Write to hello@getclurb.com. A real person reads every email.
What do I need to run Clurb?
A Mac with macOS 27 or later. It's built first for the touchscreen Mac and works fully with a trackpad, mouse and keyboard.
How do I make a note?
Press ⌃⌥N in any app, choose New Note from the pin in the menu bar, or press ⌘N while Clurb is in front. Drag a note by the strip at the top; tap the paper to type.
Where did my notes go when I clicked on the desktop?
Notes rest on the desktop, behind your windows. Pin a note to keep it in front, press ⌃⌥H to hide or show everything, or click Clurb in the Dock to find any note.
How do boards work?
Make one from the menu bar pin, New Board. Drag notes and bookmarks into its columns. Pull a card off a board and it's a note on your desk again. Archive a board when you're done with it.
Clurb says it can't read the clipboard.
macOS asks before an app reads the clipboard. Open System Settings, Privacy & Security, find Clurb and allow it, then turn clipboard watching off and on in Clurb's Settings.
Save Link doesn't work in my browser.
The first time, macOS asks whether Clurb may read your browser's current page. If you said no, open System Settings, Privacy & Security, Automation, and turn on your browser under Clurb. Firefox can't share its page this way, so Clurb opens the Save Link window instead.
Is anything I copy sent anywhere?
No. Copied items stay on your Mac and are never synced. Sign-in codes, card numbers and keys show as stripes, and items from password managers are skipped entirely.
I deleted something by mistake.
Press ⌘Z right away, or click Clurb in the Dock and open Recently Deleted (⌘Y). Deleted notes, bookmarks and board cards wait there for 30 days.
Can I change the shortcuts?
Yes, in Clurb's Settings, Shortcuts. Help, Keyboard Shortcuts lists them all.
Does Clurb sync with iCloud?
Not in the current beta. Sync through your own private iCloud account is planned for a later version.
How do I send feedback from the beta?
In TestFlight, choose Send Beta Feedback, or email us. Screenshots help a lot.
Still stuck?
Email hello@getclurb.com with your macOS version, what you expected and what happened. A screenshot or a short screen recording helps.
