Privacy Policy

In short:

Clurb doesn't collect anything about you. Your notes, boards, bookmarks and copied items stay on your Mac. There's no account, no tracking and no ads.

What Clurb stores, and where

  • Your notes, drawings, photos, boards, bookmarks, reminders, Archive and Recently Deleted, in Clurb's own storage on your Mac.
  • Where things sit on your screens, on that Mac only.
  • Copied items, only if you turn on clipboard watching. They stay on your Mac, expire when you choose, and are never synced or sent anywhere.
  • Your settings, on your Mac.

What Clurb doesn't do

  • No account and no sign-in.
  • No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no data shared with or sold to anyone.
  • Nothing you write or copy is sent to us. We never see it.

When Clurb uses the internet

  • To fetch a web page's title and icon when you save a link as a bookmark. Only that page is asked, only when you save or refresh it.
  • To check your purchase with the App Store, once Clurb is sold. The beta has no purchases.

iCloud

A future version will offer to sync your notes, boards and bookmarks through your own private iCloud account, so they match on your devices. If you turn it on, Apple stores them under your Apple Account and we can't see them. Copied items, screen positions and file access never sync. The current beta doesn't sync.

Permissions Clurb may ask for

  • Clipboard: to keep what you copy, only after you turn watching on.
  • Automation: to read the address and title of the page in your browser, only when you choose Save Link.
  • Notifications: to show the reminders you set.
  • Files and folders: only the ones you drop on Clurb or choose yourself.

Deleting your data

Delete notes, bookmarks or boards in Clurb. They wait in Recently Deleted until you delete them for good or the time you chose passes. Clear copied items in Settings, Clipboard. Removing Clurb from your Mac removes everything it stored there.

This website

getclurb.com uses no cookies and no analytics. It's hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

Children

Clurb doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Clurb will never start collecting your data quietly.
